Usually, Kim Jun Su didn’t have to wait for any call to come. People who knew him were the one that actually do the waiting. This time, it was different. He was waiting for a call.
While waiting for his call, he started doing some research for his assignment. Something about the law in business administration. He was doing it half heartedly. It was his first time to be involved personally in human resources. He was never the one doing unnecessary stuff like waiting for a girl. Today afternoon, he had waited for her.
Which was very odd to Kim Jun Su.
Jun Su felt like smacking himself silly. She may turn down the offer. She may need money desperately but she still may turn down the offer.
The phone rang suddenly.
He was surprised.
He waited for the phone to ring a few times before actually walking to it. The continuous ring of his phone showed the urgency of the caller.
It might actually be her.
He picked up the phone.
“Umm…. I know this sound so weird. But are you the one waiting for me by my car this afternoon?” she asked.
It was her.
Li Yin pressed the hang up button. Surprisingly, it was easy. He had just asked her to do some modeling for him. She was required to only stay in a pose for a while like an hour or two when he got the sketch down. Then, she could leave because he assured her that he just needs to draw fiction onto the sketch he had.
Here comes the tricky part.
He had to draw in his apartment alone with her.
How much she need the money? She really couldn’t answer that and she couldn’t really make a decision.
In the end, she had promised to meet with him in school cafeteria for more discussion. In the end, she had no sleep at all, thinking and trying to remember his name again.
Lee Li Yin was waiting for her lunatic to come in a corner, well hidden from the noisy mouths of her college mates. Kim Jun Su deliberately came late for about five minutes. Her face was drawn into a face of relief when she saw him walking towards her.
She must have need money desperately.
Jun Su smiled at the poor girl and she quickly turned a shade redder. Jun Su liked this girl. She was such a naivet.
It reminded him of her mother.
Li Yin quickly stood up and greeted him in a tone totally different from her tone yesterday. She was actually trying to talk politely. Jun Su took a seat and apologised for lack of punctuality.
She then said it was ok, meaning as long as he was here, it was ok. What kind of job you mean? She asked cautiously, trying not to sound so desperate.
Modeling.
Does it had to be your house? She asked. I mean wouldn’t it be more appropriate in a studio. She tried to cover up her awkwardness.
Jun Su smirked, wondering how she would react when she heard what was actually in his mind.
I am planning to draw a portrait of you, nude. You want to do it in a studio? Jun Su shrugged. He then said that it was fine with him.
Li Yin looked like her soul had just been sucked out of her shell. It seemed that she had to turn down the job.
She would never let a total stranger to see her naked. All kind of disgusting thoughts went into her brain and preoccupied her brain momentarily.
Li Yin suddenly stood up and her action pushed her chair down. Her hand pushed her cup into instability and the drink spilled. Despite all this havoc, she could only stare at Jun Su. Jun Su wondered whether she was aware that she was getting all the attention now.
Jun Su just continued observing her.
Mister, that would be a no. She refused flatly.
Jun Su was a bit surprised. He was going to offer a lump sum that would be sufficient enough for her to make her to jump into bed with him and he didn’t ask for that. He just asked her to model for him for arts. He needed her because he doesn’t simply draw anyone.
Just people that interest him.
She practically stormed off with her shirt, stained with her drink. Jun Su looked around and quickly saw his audiences’ eyes reverted back somewhere as but not to him. It appeared to him that the new girl and he, the introvert were about to be their topic soon.
Kim Jae Joong needed to curse someone, in fact a particular girl named Lee Li Yin. However, despite the urgency to curse, he didn’t. He was too busy flying from the hall into the kitchen to curse.
It was that busy.
He really prayed that Li Yin quickly appear in front of him. He was already tired. He had been working for the past four hours and his shift was supposed to end forty minutes earlier. Li Yin was supposed to cover for her.
She had better have a good excuse. Stephanie wasn’t very kind too today. She kept on using her tray to smack Jae Joong’s head and it made the whole thing worse when Jae Joong can’t help but to be amused with her when Stephanie does so.
Stephanie was one sexy lady.
They always said sexy lady gets away most of the time.
Sometimes, Stephanie seemed very weird to Jae Joong. The girls in his college had the body like Stephanie but they never had the attraction factor like Stephanie. Stephanie was tall and had a healthy tan colour on her body which totally attribute to her sexiness. She liked to wear blouse that showed off her cleavage and yet, it didn’t give the impression of come-on-fu.ck-me. In fact, all it did was to show her superiority. Sometimes, she wore skirts and sometimes pants. Jae Joong had always preferred the skirts more than pants.
Sometimes, Jae Joong wished that he can wear skirts too.
All the customers seemed to be fine when she had to walk slowly from the kitchen to serve the drinks. Jae Joong had to dash to compensate her speed instead. The skirts seemed to give her the privilege that she can walk slowly and stylishly. Jae Joong labeled them the skirt chasers.
Today, Stephanie was very angry with Jae Joong. Jae Joong had bought the wrong drink to the wrong table. Luckily for Jae Joong, the customers apparently were breaking up. None of them noticed.
Then, Jae Joong was caught flirting with one of the customers. Jae Joong could still feel the wrath on his swollen head. Needless to say, Stephanie had smacked him countless there today.
The bell chimed hurriedly.
Both Stephanie and Jae Joong threw their hands up in celebration.
Li Yin had arrived.
Li Yin quickly dashed to the counter and threw an apron onto her body. She quickly tied her hair into a bun to hinder any disturbance from the disobedient hair she had. Jae Joong waited for her and quickly whispered a few complaints.
“The whole house had been a madhouse. She is not in a good mood today,” he said.
“Sorry, I was late. A professor and some lunatic were stalling me. I will make up for it one day ok?,” Li Yin apologised.
“Yeah and I am going off now,” Jae Joong threw his apron into a drawer and dashed out of the caf.
Li Yin went to the kitchen and saw Stephanie struggling to put a few drinks onto her tray.
“Thank goodness you are here. I can’t stand that idiot,” Stephanie said.
Li Yin laughed and continued the work Jae Joong left.
After four more hours, the caf was shut for the day. Li Yin still had an hour before she checked out. Both Stephanie and Li Yin were putting the chairs up on the tables.
“You were here the whole day?” Li Yin asked.
“Yeah, it was the only day that I get the whole day off from school,” Stephanie answered.
Then, they started talking despite the tiredness they felt from the day work. They had talked everything under the sun and their topics jumped randomly.
First, it was about school. Then, it was about family. Later on, it was about boys and relationship.
It was very much like a girls’ talk.
For Li Yin and Stephanie that had to juggle with school and work, it was actually something that came once in a blue moon and they really appreciate the blue moon.
As Li Yin heaved the last chair onto the table, her phone rang. She picked it up immediately.
“Han Geng?” she inquired softly. It was from a friend from where she came from.
Before she left for Korea.
She started to look very lost after the phone call.
Li Yin remembered that the lunatic from school suddenly. It was past midnight. She was in her room and had just returned from her work. The maids in her house were fast asleep and she crawled up to her room, hoping that she didn’t wake her mother and father up. That is if her father was at home and not at his office, doing some paper work.
She needed privacy to think and maybe to make a call.
On her way home, she realized that her need for some fast cash had increased rapidly. She needed any job that can bring cash. Suddenly, her brain hit a nail. She remembered that lunatic that she met in the afternoon.
That lunatic who wanted her to work as his model.
Li Yin had no time to fight with sense as to why she was qualified. Her desire for money overwrote her sensibility. Luckily, she had to thank the lunatic who had left his number recorded in her phone. Now, she just needed to find his number.
She flipped her phone open and entered her phone book.
With the limited time she had, she started to have a verbal argument with her sensible side. She was bought up to not easily trust a stranger. She was bought up traditionally under her old fashioned grandmum. Her grandmum had always said that she didn’t wish that any of her grandchildren to appear wearing close to nothing on the street.
She strolled down her list. There was father there. Then, the house phone number. Her and her father’s driver number. Jae Joong and …….
Job opportunity’s number there.
Above Stephanie’s number and the list ended there
It wasn’t there before. It must had been the lunatic’s number.
Kim Jun Su went home quickly and called a number he had recently gained in the club. Yes, he went to club too. It wasn’t all about study to him despite the common impression he gave. He went to a more different club than people his age. It was more like bar than club. He listened to confidential trading information there and gets numbers he thought was useful.
This number that he recently gained was a private investigator one.
Then, he chuckled to himself.
He was getting a bit out of hand. Even if he were to call the number, how can he possibly asked someone to investigate another that he didn’t even know her name was? He always loses his cool when it was about Kim Jae Jeoong.
He just needed a name.
Damnit.
It had been a week since they started work. Surprisingly, it wasn’t really that boring for Jae Jeoong. Jae Jeoong had never worked in his entire life before. He had never really needed to lift a finger if he didn’t want to. Being a waiter was entirely new to him.
He needed to learn where everything was. He needed to memories the coffee beans actually had to be grinded into powder to be readily made into a coffee. He needed to know to lay the table properly according to the location. He had to remember a lot of coffee name that he never thought existed.
He had nothing to complain off. He taken in the harsh words of the manager and then regurgitated it out to Li Yin when they finished their shift. Li Yin seemed to be an ordinary girl. She hates wasting money. She listened to everyone patiently and basically lack of sexual attraction.
Not that Jae Jeoong mind. If Jae Jeoong wasn’t looking at Li Yin like that, what makes other guys eying her?
Li Yin loved to smile to the customers and always runs around the café.
Their other colleague Stephanie, had to smack his head every time he placed the order wrongly. Stephanie looked sexier compared with Li Yin in her apron.
It was a whole new experience.
The bell chimed as the door opened. Kim Jun Su walked in reluctantly. He was dragged by his friends to go for a blind date. Suddenly, a girl Jun Su recognized appeared.
It was her.
The one who picked up a coin.
Jun Su had thought that he should sneak out but changed his mind once he saw her. Quickly, his eyes darted to her name tag.
Lee Li Yin.
He had found a name.
Now, he could really call that private investigator. Li Yin guided Jun Su to a table for two. She then asked him to order.
Li Yin took his order and went into the kitchen. Looking around, she called Kim Jae Jeoong who was still asleep in his room. Li Yin ordered him to get his ass to the café before he was caught. Then, she went back into preparing the black coffee Kim Jun Su ordered.
She carefully placed the cup of coffee onto a tray and then decided to serve it. She walked out and only to find the table empty save for a 10000 won bill.
She put the coffee onto the table and cashed the money.
Too bad tips were all shared evenly.
That girl had been interesting.
Kim Jun Su was right. The report that the private investigator sent in to him was a good read.
Lee Li Yin story had just been like his story. If someone who was writing the story of this girl, Kim Jun Su could sue the author for copyright. Jun Su smirked.
Jun Su had already known her weakness.
Lee Li Yin rushed to her car. She was already late for her shift in the café. She was supposed to replace Jae Jeoong’s shift. She wasn’t afraid of the manager. She was more frightened of her friend, Jae Jeoong. Jae Jeoong seemed to be a calm man but in reality, he was a wussy. Li Yin knew that Jae Jeoong didn’t really need the job and she was glad that Jae Jeoong was there for her. He was a walking clown and he really amused her and Stephanie in the café.
When she was close enough to see a car, she could see a man leaning against her car.
The man stood up on his own when he saw Li Yin. He smiled at her and introduced himself as Kim Jun Su.
She was already late. This man wasn’t helping.
“I was just thinking,” the man said while using his eyes scanning Li Yin.
Li Yin started to get uncomfortable.
“Could you be my model? I will pay you hourly,” he offered.
What?!
Li Yin couldn’t believe in what she had just heard. It seemed impossible. There were so many professional models out there but he had wanted her. Obviously, there were some loose screws in his brain. It wasn’t that Li Yin was looking down at herself but she had something called a mirror at home.
“Thanks for the offer. I will consider it at home,” she refused politely.
The man then suddenly leaned back onto her car. Some stubborn pig he was. Li Yin ignored him and went into her car. She decided that she just needs to start her engine to scare the man off. However, Kim Jun Su didn’t move a bit.
She was so dead. Kim Jae Jeoong will kill her. “Hey, I need to go to work,” she said.
“I see,” he said as if it wasn’t his problem.
“Ok, what do you want?” Li Yin gave up.
“I really want you to consider sincerely. Give me your phone,” he said.
Li Yin reluctantly reached for her phone. This man surely won’t snatch her phone from her right. She had seen him a few times in the lecture hall and any student of this college won’t actually need a phone desperately to steal hers.
The man then took her phone and punched in his number into her directory. He took the liberty to look at her phone book. The amount of number seemed to minute.
This girl had totally forgotten to make friends in her life.
Kim Jun Su put his number under alias Job Opportunity and hand the phone back to its owner.
“Remember to ring me if you needed cash,” he said.
Li Yin stepped on the accelerator and sped out of the college compound. She was already late and well, was about to be baked alive by her friend.
I like this song and I think it went well with this chapter. ^^
Chapter three
Kim Jun Su who saw her, walked slowly too. It wasn’t that he was rushing back to his apartment to meet his assignment. In fact, he thought that he might need some time to think about what he had just witness.
He walked to the car park and saw a car driving pass him.
In that car, he saw Kim Jae Jeong and that girl he was observing from the balcony.
That plain Jane had hit a jackpot.
Kim Jae Jeong had been bored again. He had never remembered when he wasn’t bored. Son of a wealthy and successful businessman, he was taught to enjoy life in luxury. He had tutors at home, teaching him the basic law of business. He had learnt and studied a musical instrument to be more of a whole rounder. He had learnt to protect himself by the means of martial arts. He had learnt English and Mandarin, according to his father’s wish. His father apparently taught of expanding his business overseas. These two languages were one of the most applied languages in the world.
According to his father’s wish, he attended this college too. He really did admire his father. His father had always taught him whenever his mother left him with his father to go shopping.
It was just that he can’t wait to graduate from college and start working.
Now, his father said was his time to enjoy before the office consumes him.
He had chosen his newest interest. This woman sitting next to her was driving with her head sticking out to look at the road. This woman was about to be his newest friend. Boredom had always made him think about his friends. He did experiment that was well, educational and might be useful in the far future.
He made friends around in the college. This college had good facilities and good staff but Jae Jeoong believed that the really hidden treasure in the college was the students. The creme de creme attended this college. The student here had social status and well, money that they simply doesn’t know what to do. So, throughout his years in the college, he is going to spend it on studying and making friends. Here, he will decided who is worthy of being his friend, who was loyal, who is able to contribute in helping him to climb the ladder of success.
Jae Jeoong now was about to make judgment about this woman.
Lee Li Yin was someone who appeared to be introvert. She didn’t make the effort to make friends and the only effort she made over the past month was to study. She practically attended all her classes and lectures. She was the only one who appeared in simple and casual attire. Most of the girls in their college were all rolled in makeup and accessories. They all came either overdressed or simply skimpily dressed.
Not that he minded that. It just aroused his libido a bit.
Jae Jeoong won’t be so intrigued if this Lee Li Yin dressed like the other girl friends he had. Jae Jeoong could simply categorized Lee Li Yin as an idiot. However, Lee Li Yin was just so wrapped in her world. Jae Jeoong felt that a challenge was offered to him and his boredom seemed to dropped a bit.
Lee Li Yin suddenly sighed.
“Great! I am lost!”
The cafe was one of the hottest hangouts for the college kids. Whoever who attended their college would know. Jae Jeoong’s surprise almost betrayed him.
“Turn left now,” Jae Jeoong said.
She pouted a bit and followed Jae Jeoong’s direction. She saw the cafe and headed straight into the underground parking lot. She parked her car smoothly and walked out of her car. Jae Jeoong did the same. Li Yin was tapping her foot, urging him to get out of her car quickly.
Once he was out of her car, she quickly beeped her car and hastily walked towards the entrance to the cafe. He followed along.
A bell chimed when she slowly pushed the door opened. The bell had then created a calm ambience to the whole cafe. Slowly, a waitress came out and greeted the two of them. The waitress was another girl their age. The nametag on her uniform read Stephanie. Stephanie seemed to be knock out of breathe as she laid her eyes on Jae Jeoong.
Jae Jeoong had always been modest about his looks. He knew he looked good.
“What can I do for you girls?” Stephanie cheerfully asked.
Li Yin now was struggling to hold in the laughter that was threatening to burst out soon.
“We came to apply for the job vacancy,” Li Yin answered.
Stephanie then excused herself and called the manager out. It was man who is in his mid forties. He looked kind and experienced. He interviewed them and he wasn’t very pleased by the level of enthusiasm that Jae Jeoong showed.
Who won’t be if they answered that they are bored when he was asked why he would choose the job.
The manager was impressed by Li Yin. Li Yin showed a readiness to learn and to work. She seemed to be responsible too and well, something told the manager that Li Yin needed money desperately too. Li Yin was automatically in his good books. He had always thought that youngsters nowadays don’t know the value of money.
Jae Jeoong on the other hand was too indifferent, showing a lack of desire to serve.
“Manager, if you hired us, we will work very hard. I can assure you that,” Li Yin said with a smile.
She nudged Jae Jeoong a bit and Jae Jeoong nodded his head in agreement.
The manager wasn’t so sure about Jae Jeoong but the manager thought that he could give both of them a chance. He wasn’t the one that cruelly dismay people at his first impression.
“Great! Start tomorrow. Li Yin, you are officially hired and Jae Jeoong, you are on probation!” the manager announced.
“CAN YOU BELIEVE HIM?”
Li Yin swore she had heard that a thousand of times from Jae Jeoong. Obviously, Jae Jeong still can’t get over the fact that the manager trusted her more than him.
They were both in the car and now, Li Yin was forced to send Jae Jeoong home. Throughout the whole journey home, Jae Jeoong had been complaining about the manager.
Li Yin was very glad that she had always practiced selective hearing back home when her grandmother had been lecturing her. She could only hear something about what gives him the benefit of the doubt and something about how blind the manager are, unable to recognise a jewel when it is just in front of this nose.
She really can’t believe that her first friend here is so fussy.
Lee Li Yin held to her motto every single day and true enough, she applied it everyday. Today after the Psychology lecture, she had taken her own sweat time to walk to her car. She was dreaming again of the past. She really hated it here.
Something abruptly broke her train of thought.
A thing was shinning from the floor.
It seemed to be a coin.
She then looked around, scanning for another breathing thing around her. Nobody was around. She was sure that she was not watched. She casually walked to the coin and then, ridiculously stamped her foot onto the floor.
“OMG, my shoelace is untied,” she yelled.
Slowly, she bent down without moving her foot. She then pretended to tie her shoelace and slowly, moved her foot. In the anxiety to get the coin, she licked her lips and picked up the coin from the floor.
She then whistled and in haste, pocketed the coin.
It was now hers. It was 500 Won. Her first ever 500 Won since she stepped down in the land of Korea. To her, this was the first step in her plan.
A penny saved is a penny earned.
She felt really happy.
Now, she only needed to get a stable job. A job that won’t disturb her studies and allowed her to get some cash. She was new to the country. This was the first time she was here. She actually took Korean language course back home to prepare her for today but even if she knew to speak doesn’t mean that she know Korea inside out. She still blurred about the roads here and her father hired a driver for her.
However, a month had passed. She knew the way to college and the way back to the house. Others, was still a mystery for her. Maybe she should get a friend here. A friend that may show her ways around the town. She really didn’t want to bother her father. Her father had a lot to do at the office and home.
That is it. She just needs to work things out for herself.
She walked towards the common notice board in the campus. Every announcement pinned up there was for club activities and some of them are to inform some useless talk that was going to happen soon, begging for attendance.
Lee Li Yin really had to roll her eyes. Her one month here had taught her nothing about the syllabus but about the high and mighty kids of the loaded one. They have a life of a pig. Usually pig just sleep, eat and then poo. These human pigs were just slightly different. They seldom eat to maintain their figure for girl, have beauty sleep since they really need it and well, puke their guts out when they go clubbing. These pigs have sinful past time too. They like the pigs, liked to screw around with drugs and well, sex.
Well, it was not that Lee Li Yin had anything against them. She just doesn’t mix well with them.
Lee Li Yin didn’t want to depend on her father and well, refused to have such monotonous lifestyle. Her main goal in life was to earn more money.
She glanced around the announcement and suddenly, an oddly out of note stood out. It immediately caught her attention. It was a note informing her of a job vacancy. Nobody really could have paid any attention to it considering that it was pinned up in a college filled with people walking with thick wallet.
The simple thought reassured Lee Li Yin. She reached out and wanted to take the note down. Well, it was just a little bit more of reassurance. Before she could really do so, someone else took the note down.
It was the sissy boy, Kim Jae Jeong.
He didn’t need it. She needed it more than he does. Kim Jae Jeong, oblivious to the glare he was getting, read the note attentively. Lee Yi Lin was sure she had gotten herself a competitor.
“A waiter and a waitress are needed in the LeCaire caf,” he read it out.
“It fits us, right? By the way, my name is Kim Jae Jeong,” he introduced himself.
“UH…. I am Lee Li Yin,” she returned the favour.
“That sounded a bit weird. Lee-Li-Yin. Must be a tongue twister,” he remarked.
“Well, I don’t see anything weird with my name. Yours are weirder,” she said.
He laughed a bit and apologised, “Sorry. Can I call you Li Yin?”
“Whatever,” she said, already annoyed. She could give up this job vacancy. The job wasn’t worth the trouble she was going to received if any of his fan clubs’ members saw them together. She turned and walked to her car.
Her father had been really good to her. He was really just really busy in work and home. He was that busy until he had to call Li Yin to have a day to day talk with his daughter. Her father had worked so hard to provide her a roof and education. Just, that sometimes, Li Yin hoped that he pay some attention to her. A roof above her head and a call a day weren’t sufficient enough replace a dad. He gave her a car too and in times like this, she was very glad that she had an international license. That meant she could drive around. She beeped her car opened and slid into her seat. She threw her files at the back seat.
She turned around and saw Kim Jae Jeong sitting right next to her.
“What are you doing here?” Li Yin almost shrieked.
“Look, Li Yin. My car has no fuel and well, we are heading to the same place,” he said.
“Are we?” she snapped back. She didn’t appreciate people who slide into others car without any notification.
Kim Jae Jeong hurried to the exit and dashed out. Kim Jun Su stuffed his notebook and his pen into his sling bag. He stood up and put his sling bag over his shoulder. Without any hesitation, he walked out of the hall. Lee Li Yin took her time. Something was preoccupying her thought that day. Slowly, the students emptied the hall and Lee Li Yin was the last one to leave.
On the way to the student car pack, Kim Jun Su searched for his hand phone in his pocket. The pocket was flat, informing him that he had left the phone in the hall. Quickly, he dashed to the hall back to retrieve his phone before someone else claimed the ownership. He arrived to the hall and walked down the stairs two at a time. At one of the balcony, he saw a girl. She had a straight hall and was wearing a simple t-shirt and a short pant fitting the hot climate in the campus. Kim Jun Su stopped for a while to observe this girl. Lately, he had been observing a lot people. It might be his newest hobby.
The girl was just walking straight. Nobody was around her. The whole campus was almost empty save for the janitor. She was just walking aimlessly and can’t even notice her surrounding.
Another scatter brain.
Surprisingly, the girl still hadn’t crashed into anything solid.
She must have walked down this path for some times, to be able to remember the surrounding and not bumping into anything. Suddenly, she picked up her head and started to scan her surrounding. She looked everywhere to her side, just to find that she was alone. However, she had forgotten to look above her.
Kim Jun Su smirked at the thought that she was being watched by him.
She quickly dashed and stamped her foot onto a particular spot on the floor. She pretended to whistle even though it was obvious she didn’t know how to whistle let alone hum. Then, she bent down.
At this moment, Kim Jun Su leaned forward to have a better look at her.
She picked up her tied shoelace and moved her foot a bit. Suddenly, a shinny coin showed itself. Slowly, she picked up the coin and put it into her pocket. Kim Jun Su swore he could see a smile on her face.
Amused by her action, he looked at her some more. All her clothing even though was simple, seemed to be expansive. She seemed to have an elegant face too. Her sneaker that she used to stamp the floor was obviously one of the newest pair in the town, not to mention from the renowned Adidas shop.
This college itself cost a lot to enter. This college was one of the most prestigious one in the whole Korea. Most of the student here doesn’t need to worry about their life as they are secured with billions worth of trust funds. Trust funds that are enough to raise their grandchildren in a wealthy surrounding. Some of them who came here were just attending for the sake of attending. In the world of influential and wealth, the deflated ego came first. Even though everyone knew that these sons of the successful are nothing but spoilt brats, these successful parents still want to keep the impression that their children are also educated.
Kim Jun Su really can’t figure out the girl. The girl was obviously rich. She couldn’t be the scholar that was offered a place here. She didn’t look smart enough. She looked like another plain Jane.
The sun and it rays radiated onto the seat on the east of the building. The seats on the east side were preoccupied by them. Nobody wanted to sit there, to be burnt down by these rays. Everyone knew about this little environmental condition whenever they have to attend this special psychology lecture. It had been almost a month that the course had taken it start and one month was enough to find out such petty detail.
The subject itself was interesting but the lecturer was always droning while delivering them. It had been a month and yet, he was still on the introductory bit of psychology.
In one month time, the number of student attending dropped drastically from a full house to a humble number of tens. These students were either immune to the lecturer’s passive way of teaching or were required to attend all the lectures. The former includes student who gotten their way into this prestigious college by scholarship.
Or they have nothing to do for the day.
Like Kim Jae Jeong who was lazily fingering his pencil.
Kim Jae Jeong was one of the pretty boys in the college. He was admired by the crazy ladies in the campus for having more feminine features than most of his admirers. His hair was dark brown, attenuating his fair skin. He has the coldest face whenever he wasn’t smiling and killed people with his voice when he talked. A lot of his course mates had the same impression of him. He was a cold man. He looked like those who get whatever he had laid his eyes on. However, in one month time, he had proven them wrong. He was one of the friendliest freshmen and always bore a smile on his face.
Tomorrow, the lecturer would have more student thanks to this attractive student. Rumours will spread throughout the campus informing the crazy admirer that Kim Jae Jeong was attending Psychology lecture.
Kim Jun Su sitting in front of the hall was listening attentively to the lecturer.
He was not forced to attend it. He attended it in the noble quest of obtaining knowledge. His fingers gripped strongly on his pen and ran furiously across the page when the lecturer was mumbling something Kim Jun Su acknowledged as important. Kim Jun Su was another weird ball. He had the look of a man and a bit on the short side. He wore a pair of glasses to class and put them back into his spectacle box whenever the lesson finished. Usually, he tried to keep his number of friends to the minimal amount just enough to fill up the society quote. Not much was known about him. He liked to stay hidden in the crowd and then, occasionally showed up at his friends’ house for a game or two on the ps2.
In the lecture hall, someone was wishing that the lecture would actually end already. She was sitting in the sunny side of the hall and was feeling the hatred of the sun. Well, the feeling was mutual. Lee Li Yin felt really like smacking herself for forgetting to label good seat. First of all, she was almost late for the lecture. All the goody-two-shoes had already laid their butt on the seats shady side nearest to the lecturer. All the remaining seats on the shady side were too far from the lecturer to even see him. Only a complete idiot who looked like a sissy girl would sit at the far end of the hall, near the exit. Not that it annoyed Lee Li Yin. It was just a small pain in the neck. She could readily bet her life that tomorrow she will have a harder time in finding a seat because most of his fan club will know by then that he was having a concert in the hall and will most probably attend this little fan meeting of his.
“ In the 4th century B.C, Hippocrates actually stated that the human is composed of 4 different type of liquid,” the lecturer muttered.
Luckily the administrator of the institute was not stupid. They had actually prepared him a microphone.
He continued to mutter in to the mouth piece.
“And he categorised people according to the composition of these fluids in the body,”
The lecturer wobbled his way to the blackboard and wrote down four words.
Sanguis. Chole Melanchole Phlegma
“And so you have it. The different composition of these fluids in the human body according to him affect your health and your mental condition.
